Hi, I’m Serena
This is a no-judgment zone where we laugh through the madness, share the real stuff, and survive one domestic disaster at a time.
MY DOMESTIC DRAMEDY
Hi, I’m Serena, the working mom, wife, caffeine-powered chaos coordinator, and reluctant lead actress behind Domestic Dramedy.
I started this blog because my life is not exactly peaceful, organized, or Pinterest-perfect. Around here, there is usually laundry somewhere it should not be, sawdust in questionable places, a teenager arguing that deodorant counts as hygiene, and a husband who can turn a simple project into a full-blown episode.
That husband is Scott. He is a woodworking, tool-collecting, ADHD tornado who has never met a project he could not start, halfway finish, and lovingly abandon before rain moves in.
Then there’s Spencer, my teenage son and self-appointed expert on everything. Hygiene is a daily negotiation, sarcasm is his native language, and he can ask where something is while standing directly in front of it.
This is my life. Messy, loud, funny, tender, and occasionally held together with prayer, coffee, dry shampoo, and the grace of God.
But Domestic Dramedy is not just about the chaos. It is about finding the humor, honesty, faith, and heart tucked inside everyday life. It is about marriage, motherhood, grief, family, work, teenagers, second chances, and all the ridiculous little moments that make you laugh before you cry, or cry before you laugh.
I do not have it all figured out. Not even close.
But I am learning to look for God in the middle of the mess, laugh at what I can, write through what hurts, and remember that real life does not have to be polished to be meaningful.
So grab your coffee, sweet tea, emergency chocolate, or wine. No judgment here.
Welcome to Domestic Dramedy, where the stories are real, the house is loud, and somebody probably left a wet towel where it does not belong.
Domestic Dramedy is written by Serena Gray, a working mom, wife, legal assistant, and domestic chaos narrator sharing funny, faith-touched stories about marriage, motherhood, teenagers, work stress, home disasters, and real family life.
